this past weekend we packed up the element....and the vespa...and headed to "das skooter kamping" rally at golden ears park.

here's our luxury two bedroom tent w/ "vespamule"........

we packed so much stuff in the element for the weekend camping trip that jason had to take the scooter...there was no room for him! ;)

hot dog lesson

the other day for liam's hot lunch program he received a regular hot dog instead of the veggie dog that was requested. then at dinner time he complained about it. jason asked him why when he realized he had that wrong hot dog he didn't speak up. he said he didn't want to. jason explained to him that it's very important to speak up for what you want. that not saying anything...then complain about it later isn't going to get you very far in life.

you gotta ask for what you want....b/c if you don't...you simply won't get it.

i hope i learned that lesson today as well.

11 years

yesterday was tessah's birthday. it would have been her 11th.....and today finally....sean and i managed to spread her ashes. we did it in a lovely rose garden at queens park in new west.

we actually tried doing it yesterday but it was busy with city workers so we decided today after working hours would be a much better time.


















there's a pen with peacocks and turkeys right next door and you can hear them when your in the garden...i thought that was quite nice


this was my favorite rose in the garden...extremely fragrant

i think the patio garden is the nicest spot of our apartment right now. well....that and the shower...the showers pretty awesome too. ;)

wheels and blue smoke

this afternoon we hung out in jason's friend cam's back yard. jason has his lambretta stored there until he gets it back on the road.

it was a nice afternoon. the dogs ran around..the kids played and the boys worked on the lammy....i supervised. good times all around.

we ruined cams lawn...just a little

jason's 1969 VW type3 stationwagon is also stored there. another project for later on down the road

oh what a year it's been...

it's that time again...birthday time!!

i had a wonderful party last night at zakkushi on main st








today jason took the day off and we had a nice relaxing day hanging out...i got my hair done and we had a lovely picnic at the quay.
now i'm getting ready to watch a couple of episodes of "on the buses" my present from jason and the boys
