anyway, it's tom's birthday today. i got him a nice present...but haven't sent it..so i guess it will be late. sorry tom. it will be a nice surprise in a week or so from now!
*a tip for the domestically disabled; when mailing gifts...don't worry if the paper is new or if it's poorly wrapped. the person will think it happened in transit!

last night was the sing-a-long night with the hard rock miners at the railway...i've meantioned it a few times before on the blog. it happens one a month. this one was an especially fun one. lots of swing dancing friends came out and aaron chapman (from the town pants) sat in and played his musical saw and mando among other odd instruments...which was really cool. no pics...unfortunately i forgot my camera.
so, i'm a little worse for wear today....plus it was super busy at work. i will try to make it an early night tonight i think. i always say that...it never happens!! i'm just a night owl at heart.
