busy week...

...i'm tired.

was going to go out dancing...but i decided to just stay home and chill with the puppy. i'm watched tv for the first time in ages...hey did you know they're redoing the bionic woman!! i'm i excited about that? weird..

day out with charlie..

didn't i tell you? this is charlies blog now! hehe

i took charlie out a few places today. jjbeans were i met with rebecca for a nice coffee and chat. the little pooch sat in jkt the whole time. then when it was time to leave i took her out...i look up and half the coffee shop is looking our way. all trying to get a better look at puppy.

we also went to the video store where it took me almost a 1/2hour to check out...b/c of all the people who wanted to check her out! oh boy...i realise things with her take longer...but that's ok. it's fun.

she also got her first set of shots...so now she's allowed to go to the park....which we will be doing first thing!! i promise you i will talk about other things eventually....once i get over the initial doggie excitement...

so today was a get stuff done day...but also try and get the new pup to eat. finally got her to eat some chicken livers and rice...which ani recommended. she ate like she had never seen food before! guess she really did hate the other stuff i bought.

tonight i meet mishi, garbs, rob and ani for ice cream at mum’s gelato...best gelato in town...yummm

oh yeah...and it look like i have to work next wednesday....crappy. back to the grind.

busy busy day...had to get up early to bring my car in to have the lights fixed. then meet garn at my place for puppy proofing. it needed to be done today b/c she was ready to leave her mom....which was pretty exciting for me!

afterwards i went and met ani for a tea and buy more doggie supplies then off to get the little scoundral. she's not a scaundrel yet. she's a little scared leaving her family and the gaint cat, jazz may not be helping matters. but i promise you...she will be one..i can tell.

today she pretty much slept. i was a little worried b/c she hadn't drank and water and had very little food...hopefully it's all ok. i got her to lick a little water from my hand. the guy i got her from was like a woman calling me every couple of hours...too funny! no...he's a nice guy. scottish bloke...rides a harley. he puts his chihuahua in his jkt when he rides. maybe someday i'll be doing that on my scooter! hehe

later in the day after we had some nice hanging time. i had my tattoo consultation with breadman at sacred heart. i'm getting tessah's feet tattooed on my feet. anne meet me down there and baby sat the little girl while i went in. afterwards we had a tea...

today started with me meeting ani and rebecca at dockers for breakfast. ani was going to give me some more scooter lessons but first i needed a helmet that fits my little noggin so we head off to a few bike shops on powell st...


ani had to drewl for a bit at the old bmw’s...

after i took this picture...the three of us....all who happen to be a wee bit over endowed in the breast department ....we decide to walk across the street to the bike shop on the other side. as we are waiting to cross some dude in a truck totally checks us out....slams into three parked cars!!

wow...never had that effect before! lol. it was kinda funny...feel sorry for the guys would own the cars that got crunched. the dudes at the bike store saw it too and thought it was pretty funny.

anyway...after that we hit a few stores before i found then helmet i wanted at the honda place at granville island and

a very hard day...

today was a hard day...a very hard day. my neck and head feel like they are going to split open.

it started with negotiations with sean at jjbeans. he was very mean and hurtful for alot of it. i was trying so hard to keep it together that i almost had a real meltdown. i started shaking uncontrollably and couldn't breath.

we did make it through miraculously...agreed and sean did apologise afterward...but it will take me a bit to forgive....

then we went to the bank to divide the debt....still waiting if they will accept the application for him to take on the debt. fuck they better....

anyway next was the bc self help counsel. they help you file the paper work...they're nice in there and very helpful. sean offered to pay for the divorce ....what a gentleman! hehe

anyway...i need these pics to cheer me up....


...for mum as well. she got a new knee today! go mum go...you’ll be up and running around in know time i bet!!

saturday brenda and i hung out at the jazz fest. we walked around...ended up at the lamplighter where the new orlean ale stars were playing.

brenda was a amused by the professionalism of our crown control up here in canada....


some dude actaully had drawn a chalk path and written "walkway" on it...

had a massage today and that pretty much wiped me out...so i stopped by granville island to recover. it's been an emotional week and the massage seemed more intense than usual. actually something unusual happened during the massage. i have from time to time had odd experiences during massage.... usually they are visual "pictures" in my head. one time was a feeling that is hard to describe. anyway, this time was different. the massage therapist was working on my head and i felt and heard a person sit at the foot of the bed....you know that formilar squeak and the weight slightly moving a bed when it's sat upon. at first i thought i was the massage therapist...but then i realised she was working on my head. very odd. i had a similar experience on night when i lived in toronto. someone sitting on my bed...yet there was no one there. for some reason i feel like it was a man...don't know why. i just feel it. strange.

ok. now that some people think i'm mad...... ;)

i told my massage therapist about my new puppy and she is thinking of going by and looking to get one for herself. she had a small dog that died a few years back and has been thinking about getting another.

i ended up not going to showboat....it started to rain a bit anyway.

ok these are the suggestions and ideas i've had so far.

muse, tinker, emma (after emma peal)...that's a good one from mum and dad. lulu, lola, lindy (after lindy hop) charlie (after charleston), kimear, faye, jingus, charro, jujube and pinky...

charlie and lindy are my favs so far. charlie is a boys name i guess...so she'll have a few gender issues...oh well.

still open to ideas. i don't want to name her till she come home which will be in a week or two.

it's been a full day. i went for coffee this afternoon and was reading and thought what shall i do today? why don't i go to the pound and the spca and look at doggies. so i did...but i didn't see anything. then a bit later ani calls me from work and says this guy came in the with these little chihuahua puppies! she says lets go look at them. ok....sounds good to me. so after a lovely belated birthday dinner at wild rice...we headed over to check em out. OMFG they are cute cute cute!!

that's my little one....now i need a name! yep. i put a deposit on the little runt and soon she will be my little baby!!!

the last few days have been little crazy with the vancouver lindy exchange. i have my friend and long lost cousin staying with me...brian lynch. it’s been nice dancing and hanging out.

tomorrow is the last day and my feet legs and knees maybe happy about that.

oh...and my frankie manning autobiography arrived!

i had a fabulous time in TO. it was sunny and hot...my rash almost went away..i could breath!

did lots of shopping and looking at art. today i went to the old hood...had a coffee at the drake. that place use to be a dump...now it’s all fancy with art galleries and vintage shops surrounding it. it was kind of surreal...

i made it to TO safe and sound. almost missed my plane b/c i was looking at the wrong ticket and had the wrong time...but pete raced me to the airport on time and all was well.

having a nice relaxing morning at krista’s catching up on emails and blog duties. I love TO...no allergies...i can breath yippie!

i did have a nice time in halifax though...dispite the rain. our whale watching was cancelled yesterday so i hung out with my friend anne. she’s doing really well. teaching at NSCAD in the fashion arts program. she’s loves it. it also gives her time to do her art which is pretty cool....


anne also happens to be handy girl. check this out...


she wants me to come there in my next hiatus...apply for the "artist in residents" program. i have been considering going back to doing some art again. i actually have an idea for a muti media series. maybe this might be a good excuse to get on it! hmmmm.... something to think about anyway.

it was a nice visit...short but sweet. super gald to see that gal again!
