So today is Garnets birthday and We’re going out to a hockey game tonight. I haven’t been to a hockey game since...since...wow...the 80’s!!
It was a Canada verses Russia game in Tokyo. We had great seats courtesy of the embassy. All canadian diplomats were in thier red jerseys...hooting and hollering ... all the russians sat very serious and the japanese people, they just claped politely.
Russia won...but not by much. It was a great game...and made me proud to be a Canadian. I was quite patriotic when I lived away from home...it’s funny how that works.
Anyway... happy birthday G!
Lets see....42...hmmm...well, at least you will always be older than me!! hehe
