so, i awoke this morning in london. really early at first by people being kicked out of the pub underneath...then again at six...i convinced myself to go back to sleep until 9ish.
simon had a stinky sheep cheese he had bought in france in the fridge, so i thought i should just get ready and hit the road for a coffee and croissant.
i did a little shopping on kings road then met katharina for lunch at the upstairs down stairs place. that's not it's name...but that's what we called it...b/c it has bunk tables!! like bunk beds..but...tables!! it was great! i want to do that in my apt! they probably would never allow a place like it in vancouver b/c the top bunks aren't wheelchair assessable or they would say it's too dangerous or something.
anyway after that i had to have a nap...and then off to....ok..it's a little embarrassing....especially since i enjoyed it. the tickets were free! footloose, the musical...yes as in a theatre rendition of the classic film staring kevin becon! ok...maybe it's not a classic..but it was fun and silly and brought me back to being fourteen..i loved that film when it came out! hehe
