sat evening...

so another great day in paris. i have to say that parisians know how to enjoy themselves and hey...they are friendly!! which i absolutely don’t remember when i was here before!

kim said she would gladly round up some unfriendly Francophones for me if i was disappointed!! lol

we had a great dinner at a japanese place that a friend of kim’s recomended...it was nice hearing kim speak japanese again...brought back memories.

i just got back from swing dancing....which...as it turns out is just down the street form hotel!! i couldn’t have planed it better! it was fun... live band, a singer from ohio...she was pretty fine. the place couldn’t have been any more smoky and hot though...it was down stairs in the basement of a jazz bar...no ventilation what so ever. i had to leave early,..b/c i felt a second hand smoke headache coming on. i’m going again tomorrow...i’ll have to stock up on the advil.
...it was fun never the less...the french have a different style of dancing..it’s tight...closer and smaller steps and more upright..i guess b/c of the lack of space...and they aren’t use to women asking them to dance!!...i guess i shook things up doing that...oh well!!

five day’s in paris is going to be too short..i can tell...
