sunday...
it was artsy, touristy day today. i went to palais de tokyo, a smallish modern art gallery. it was quite good. i know lots may not agree...but i like that sort of thing.
then afterwards, i decided that it was so close that i should go to the tour eiffel. i've seen it before....but just thought i should see it again. that was fun...i didn't go up though...did that last time. the funny thing was there was a film unit there. hey...i guess i could work here if i wanted to....i am afterall an citizen of the EEU!! hmmm.....
after that i wondered along the saine again and onto the grand palais to see more art..modern again. it was interesting to see modern art in such and old setting....i liked that contrast.
ok..so enough art and man my feet ache!
i will meet with kim later for dinner. i don't know where yet...then maybe off to see some more jazz. i think it's a sax player tonight..should be good.
tomorrow it's back to london again for a few days. i'm gald i came to paris. i think i got what i wanted out of it and more.
the french seem to have it right...know what's important in life. paris is an international city...with the heart of a country town. it doesn't have the bustle of london....people take their time to enjoy their lives create, work and love...a balance...
i'm also very happy to reconnect again with kim...as well as a bit of myself which my have gotten lost somewhere along my way... i hope we keep in touch this time...(we always say that)...
kim this time i mean it..ok?
